Dive Captain Resources

Dive shops that wish to participate in the Cleanup must:

  1. Register their dive group using our online registration form
  2. Agree to the dive site leader Terms and Conditions for this annual event as part of online registration.
  3. Have every diver in their group fill out a Diver Liability Waiver Form.  Captains can submit completed forms to Colorado River Alliance Program Director Geoff Hensgen (geoff@coloradoriver.org)

To ensure that the Lake Travis Cleanup’s brand and information is promoted consistently to the public, all volunteer site leaders are required to use the official branding and media provided below. Thank you for helping us make this event happen!

Shoreline volunteers select their site location by registering online using Keep Austin Beautiful’s shoreline volunteer form.

Dive Groups are provided site locations only after registering online using this event’s Dive Group form.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Join Keep Austin Beautiful, Colorado River Alliance, and Travis County for the Lake Travis Cleanup – the biggest scuba diving and shoreline cleanup in Texas! 2016 marks the 22nd anniversary of this large-scale cleanup held at several Travis County Parks and dive sites around the lake. After scouring the shoreline and diving for trash, volunteers are invited to a free volunteer party featuring free lunch, music, and door prizes. Fun for all ages!
